A dedicated sound pack for the whole quiz
These 24 original game show effects cover the host’s cues from the opening round to the final award. Choose a bright or gentle correct-answer sound, keep a short or low buzzer ready for a miss, and use separate cues for locking an answer, skipping a question and awarding double points.
Open the round
Play Round Opener, then Next Question when you are ready. Set the answer window on the quiz timer. Buzz In announces a player’s turn; Answer Locked marks a final choice.
Give them thinking time
Start Thinking Bed for a looping musical backdrop, or let the timer start and stop it for you. Suspense Build leads into Answer Reveal. Last Five Seconds adds a final warning.
Call the result
Use Correct Answer or Wrong Answer for quick feedback. Round Winner and Round Loss close a round, Bonus Award marks extra points, and Champion Fanfare celebrates the overall winner.
Thinking music and a timer that work together
Check Thinking music while timer runs before pressing Start to give players a musical answer window. The bed loops while the timer runs, pauses with it, and stops when you reset or reach zero. Leave the checkbox off when you prefer a quiet timer, and use the Thinking Bed pad whenever you want to control the music yourself.
The 10-Second Countdown and Last Five Seconds pads are standalone sound cues. They do not change the visual timer. For a timed question, set the quiz timer to your chosen duration and enable its end sound if you want Time’s Up to play at zero.
Quiz sounds for classrooms and trivia nights
For a classroom review, use Gentle Correct for feedback and keep Pass / Skip ready when a student wants to move on. At a team trivia night, Final Round and Tie Break give the late stages distinct cues. Studio Applause gives an award a little room to breathe.
Presentation mode keeps the large timer, host controls and sound buttons together on a focused display. Connect your speakers, test the volume and rehearse a question before players arrive. Use your own questions and scoreboard alongside the soundboard.

Game Show Soundboard FAQ
How do I use the quiz timer?
Choose a 10, 30 or 60 second preset, or enter a duration from 1 to 3,600 seconds. Press Start to begin and Pause to hold the timer. Reset returns it to the chosen duration. With the end sound enabled, Time’s Up plays at zero.
How does the thinking music work?
Tap Thinking Bed to start its loop and tap it again or press Stop all to stop. For automatic music, check Thinking music while timer runs before starting the quiz timer. The music starts with the timer and stops when it pauses, resets or finishes.
Which sounds should a quiz host keep ready?
Start with Correct Answer, Wrong Answer, Buzz In and Answer Locked. Round Opener, Next Question and Round Complete mark the structure of your game. Final Round, Tie Break and Champion Fanfare give the finish its own cues.
Do the countdown sound buttons control the visual timer?
No. The 10-Second Countdown and Last Five Seconds buttons play standalone sound cues. Set and start the quiz timer separately when you need a visible timed answer window.
Does this track player buzzers or scores?
The board gives the host sound buttons and a timer. It does not receive buzzes from player devices or keep a score. You can run a quiz alongside your own questions and scoreboard.
Can I download the game show sound effects?
Yes. Press the download arrow on a sound button to save a WAV file. This dedicated pack contains original ButtonBass effects released under CC0, so you can use them in school projects, videos and streams without attribution.
